The e-EPIC is the official digital version of your voter ID card. It is a secure PDF that you can save on your phone, print, or keep in DigiLocker. It is issued only by the Election Commission of India (ECI), through the Voters’ Services Portal. No other website, including this one, can generate an official e-EPIC.
What you need before you start
- Your EPIC number (printed on your voter ID card) or the Form Reference Number you received after applying.
- The mobile number linked to your voter record. The OTP for the download is sent only to this number.
- A PDF reader on your phone or computer to open the downloaded file.
How to download your voter ID card (e-EPIC), step by step
- Open the Voters’ Services Portal and log in. New users can sign up with their mobile number.
- Select E-EPIC Download from the list of services.
- Choose whether you are entering an EPIC number or a Form Reference Number, type it, and select your state.
- Select Search. Check that the name shown matches your record.
- Select Send OTP. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number registered with your voter record, then select Verify.
- Select Download e-EPIC. The PDF is saved to your device.

If your mobile number is not linked
The download cannot continue without an OTP on the registered number. Update your mobile number on the Voters’ Services Portal (through the e-KYC or correction option, using Form 8), wait for it to be processed, and then try the download again. Common problems and fixes
